About Me

Everything I do to help others escape their emotional and physical pain stem from my own long, painful healing story. I know how it feels to feel insecure, scared, broken, out of control, numb, in chronic pain. I know how it feels to suffer years of unexplainable autoimmune diseases and TMS, “feeling my own body has turned against me”, having suicidal thoughts, and attempting my own suicide.

Everything I’ve learned along the way, as a coach, consultant, and hypnotherapist has been through the lens of seeking answers for overcoming my own childhood trauma and chronic pain. It was my destiny to want to help others also escape their pain.

As an RTT hypnotherapist trained by Marisa Peer in her phenomenal multi-award-winning method of Rapid Transformational Therapy I enjoy the privilege of seeing and hearing firsthand my clients share their wonderful transformation stories of escaping their own anxiety, trauma, PTSD, and chronic pain. I’m honored to be the one they turn to for help as their trusted guide on the road to recovery.

If my story resonates with you, feel free to reach out for a chat. I’m accepting new clients for in-person sessions and zoom sessions from anywhere in the world.

Even though my life got off to a rocky start with years of childhood trauma, I now enjoy every day in a deeply fulfilling, transformed life helping others break free from their PTSD, C-PTSD, trauma, anxiety, anger, sadness, and chronic pain.” ~ Zelda Sheldon.

FAQ

What is RTT®?

RTT® stands for Rapid Transformational Therapy.

RTT® is a therapeutic approach that uses powerful, evidence-based techniques to provide people with the tools they need to make positive change.

The roots of RTT® are drawn from within areas of traditional psychotherapy such as gestalt, solution-focused and cognitive behavioral therapy, hypnotherapy and mindfulness.

Its personalized approach works with clients to help them reframe any negative beliefs, values, habits and emotions – many of which they have carried with them since childhood.

Often, these have been so deeply buried in their subconscious that they are unaware of the past issues affecting them.

By giving the client the potential to alter the way they think and put an end to negative self-talk, they can approach life in a positive way and move forward.

This innovative, award-winning method developed by British therapist Marisa Peer who founded the Marisa Peer Method of RTT® Hypnotherapy is gaining global recognition as one of the fastest and most effective ways for people to quickly get to the root cause of their issues and concerns and experience a rapid transformation in their life.

Rapid Transformational Therapy® (RTT®) is a pioneering therapy based on neuroscience that has the potential to offer fast, effective results by combining the most beneficial principles of Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy, NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programing), and CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy).

What can an RTT therapist do for me?

RTT® therapists are able to reach breakthroughs via hypnosis that would not be possible if they were simply trying to reach their conscious mind via altered language and self-talk.

Your RTT® therapist is equipped with an array of techniques and tools that teach you how to communicate with your unconscious mind and also directly access and fix whatever blockages may be there. Rather than spending months, years, or even decades going through expensive talk therapy RTT® clients enjoy experiencing rapid transformations in one to five sessions.

How long is a typical RTT® session?

The usual duration of an RTT® session with Zelda Sheldon is 90 to 180 minutes.

How many sessions are needed?

Typically clients will experience rapid transformation in as few as 1-3 sessions for a wide range of issues. More complex issues such as Anorexia Nervosa may take 5 or more sessions.

What types of issues can RTT® help with?

  • Anxiety including General Anxiety; Performance Anxiety; Social Anxiety; PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder); C-PTSD (Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) also referred to as Developmental Trauma or Childhood Trauma.

  • Stuck and unmotivated in career, relationships, health, finances, life.

What can I expect from an RTT® session?

Your RTTⓇ professional will help you reach a deeply relaxed state to enable you to focus on past events. As the client, you will work alongside your RTT® professional to uncover the meaning and interpretation you created at the time and the beliefs you formed as a result. You can then move on to reframe the way you look at the past from your adult perspective today.

Once that has been achieved, your RTT® professional will help you to create new, positive beliefs. This will be reinforced with a personalized audio for you to listen to for 21-30 days to establish beneficial change going forward.

How does RTT® actually work?

Unlike traditional hypnotherapy, RTT® does not rely solely on positive reinforcement. RTT® goes beyond this and focuses on identifying how, where and when unhelpful beliefs and behaviors were formed. It then utilizes the leading scientific principles of neuroplasticity to enable the creation of new neural pathways in the mind.

The tools and techniques which form RTT® as a distinctive therapeutic approach are not purely theoretical. They were developed by renowned therapist and bestselling author Marisa Peer over the course of her 30-year career. Through hands-on experience, Marisa was able to establish what created real change, with real clients, in real sessions.

RTT® can deliver extraordinary change from physical, emotional, and psychological pain by reframing our core beliefs, values, habits, and emotions deep in the unconscious.

By rapidly rewiring the brain’s neural pathways, RTT® replaces our outdated belief systems and negative behavior patterns. New life-affirming beliefs are formed, and the transformational process begins.

How is RTT®different from other therapies?

RTTⓇ helps the client uncover the root cause of why they feel the way they do. Unlike other therapies which focus on the issue or challenge, RTTⓇ helps the client discover the origin of the beliefs and behaviors  that have led to their issue. Using a unique set of tools and techniques, RTTⓇ supports the client in transforming their current issue and moving forward with a new set of more beneficial and positive beliefs.
